When you give to the Order of the Antelope (OOTA), you’re doing more than just donating, you’re helping preserve the wild heart of Hart Mountain. Since 1932, the Order has been dedicated to conservation, camaraderie, and keeping Oregon’s high desert as wild and beautiful as the day our founders first made the climb.

Your support helps us fund vital projects that make a lasting impact. From improving hiking trails and picnic areas to installing new signage and creating updated maps for visitors, every dollar helps make Hart Mountain more accessible and enjoyable. Donations also go toward maintaining guzzlers (for thirsty wildlife), repairing roads, enhancing camping areas, making fencing improvements, and managing weeds and invasive foliage to protect native plants.

We also invest in education programs as well as infrastructure improvements, such as much-needed facilities for visitors at Deer Creek. And just imagine what we could do with an extra $10,000 a year, more restoration projects, more student scholarships, and more opportunities to give back to the refuge that started it all.
